1) Why Isn’t Gold At The Top Of My Holiday Gift List? + Lee’s take on BBY, SHLD, KR, TIF, BBBY, RSH, WSM, M, SKS, JWN, WMT, AMZN, SPLS, EBAY, AUY, ABX, GG, and NEM

It’s that time of year again when we all dread the chore of picking out gifts for friends, relatives and loved ones. A few crazy people among us may actually enjoy fighting the crowds down at Best Buy (BBY), Sears (SHLD), Kroger (KR) or Tiffany’s (TIF) day after day until the shelves are shopped empty, but I prefer to shop smart instead of risking crushed toes and an over limit credit card.
Don’t worry because here I am to bail you out again with a whole batch of economical, simple, green and shockingly unique holiday gift giving ideas.
|
My annual holiday gift giving guide is known for providing low cost/high return gift ideas that can span everyone on your list from that newborn to your great grandfather. And… The best thing is if the gift recipient hates the gift, you can always blame it on me. I will take full responsibility. Just don’t give them my eMail address like someone did last year.
I can make no guarantees on the quantities available of things on my list, but I can say that in past years items were snapped up fast and some readers were not able to purchase what they wanted in time for holiday giving.
So you may want to move fast after reading my gift giving guide…

8) Exclusive Special Report! “Can The Book Industry Turn The Page On A Disastrous Recession?” |
|
Be one of the first to read and reap from this options trade based report.
Summary: Book sales fell 1.5% from 2007 to 2008. Customers are turning to internet sites such as Amazon to meet their needs rather than traveling to their local bookstores. New technologies are also fueling the decline of book industry fixtures such as Barnes & Noble and Borders Books. Gadgets like the Kindle and Sony Reader are further popularizing the concept of e-books at the expense of in-print versions. Publishers too face challenges as they struggle to uphold their copyrights in the face of massive scanning sessions by large companies in an attempt to post novels online. How will these shifts in technology affect the book industry? Which companies will profit and which will perish? We will discuss these questions and other changes that might occur.
Stocks Covered: Barnes & Noble (BKS), Borders Group (BGP), Amazon.com (AMZN), McGraw-Hill Cos. (MHP), Sony (SNE)
Target Returns: Up to 29.9% or 151.4% Annualized*
Downside Protection: Up to 19.0%
Investor Level: Beginner to Advanced
Risk Level: Moderate Relative Risk
