1) Can Things Ever Really Be Normal Again? + Lee’s take on F, GE, AAPL, INTC, LVS, WMT, TGT, V, MA, AXP, SCHW, AMTD, ETFC, MCD, BKC, WEN, NFLX, and NATH.

I will let you in on a little secret... Our economy did not fall off a cliff... Yet!
But if you are one of the ninety percent of Americans still working, you may already know this. If you are someone with stocks like Ford (F), General Electric (GE), Apple (AAPL), Intel (INTC), or Las Vegas Sands (LVS) in your portfolio, you already know this. If you are one of the people who ran out and bought rifles and a thousand rounds of ammunition for each of your family members and have not shot one bullet, you already know this, too. |
The only problem is that things just don't feel the same as they did a few years back. I'm not sure it will ever be the same. We probably all feel like we are on the other side of a terrible economic mishap, but the light, oxygen, and non-half gallon cartons of ice cream all seem just a little bit different. Sort of like they might all be held in place by some fragile mysterious invisible force of some type.
This must be what a New Normal feels like. But what could really be going on? I’m afraid I might know... |

Would this woman make a better Citigroup, Sprint, or General Electric CEO?
Maybe that's the New Normal. |
