1)  How Can You Get Solid Profits in Your Portfolio with SanDisk?

Bruce Frey
Contributor

Earnings season is really starting to heat up. Last week we had some of the heavyweights in the technology sector step up as Intel (INTC), Microsoft (MSFT), International Business Machines (IBM) and Google (GOOG) all reported earnings. Technology stocks got off to a nice start after a better-than-expected outlook from Linear Technology (LLTC) sparked a rally in semiconductor shares as analysts speculated that the chip sector is near a much-anticipated rebound.

This week Apple (AAPL) is one of the big names reporting earnings and what they have to say could tell us a lot about the mood of the U.S. consumer. Despite the uncertain economic conditions of the past three years, there has been one segment of the market that has kept growing in the face of unemployment, high fuel costs, and sinking real estate values. Consumers have cut back spending on many luxury and non-essential goods, but technology is one area where new, hot products are still at the forefront of consumers' minds. Think about all the people you know who rush to get the newest iPhone every time there is an updated model, or how many people carry around tablet computers now. Tech gadgets are no longer expensive toys, but are now necessities for modern life.

Something very big will happen in America within the next 180 days. It will be more devastating than the 2008 credit crisis. For most people, it will hit them like a brick wall. It will touch Americans harder and deeper than anything else we've seen since the Great Depression. Our first five predictions have already come true. We feel so strongly about this that we've put together a controversial video. Most people will not like what we have to say...they'll find it hard to believe until they see all the facts. Be among the first to see this new video here now.

8) Exclusive Special Report! Made In China: Is The Dot-Com Bubble Back?

top

Be one of the first to read and reap from this options-trade based report.

Summary: With a “Great Firewall” in place, China’s internet industry has the opportunity to create an entirely different online world using only the best ideas that have succeeded elsewhere in the world with little competition from international players. We have already seen Chinese versions of YouTube, Google, Facebook, and Amazon, and surely we will be seeing more adaptations of these companies, possibly even more deceptive clones like groupon.cn. But will this development mirror the initial stages of the American internet industry? We will examine China’s market conditions, the hype surrounding these stocks, as well as inherent risks and counterarguments so that you may decide for yourself if this wave is one you want to ride.

Stocks Covered: Baidu.com Inc. (BIDU), Sina Corp. (SINA), Sohu.com Inc. (SOHU), Youku.com Inc. (YOKU), Renren Inc. (RENN)
Target Returns:
Up to 33.2% or 148.4%* Annualized
Downside Protection:
Up to 28.4%
Investor Level:
Beginner to Advanced
Risk Level: Moderate Relative Risk
