Once a year, at our family New Year’s Day dinner, the Allen household goes through the ritual of talking about our annual resolutions. This is meant to be some quality family time for us all to bare our souls and consider ways we can become better people over the next twelve months.

As we went through this slightly painful exercise this year, I was wondering what it would be like if CEOs of companies like Exxon-Mobile (XOM), Kraft (KFT), Bank Of America (BAC) and General Electric (GE) made New Year’s resolutions?
And what if politicians made New Year’s Resolutions? I guess that would be too much for even me to imagine, but I’m getting that tingling feeling...
